Tech4G originates from Viscar Industrial Capacity Ltd, which has about 16 years of offering engineering technology solutions across East Africa. From its inaugural Engineering Graduate Training Program in 2009, Viscar has had the plight of young graduates at its heart. While many graduates have benefited from the program, the demand remains very high for Viscar to satisfy them fully. In addition, the consultancies conducted across the marginalized communities revealed a digital divide that required further interventions. As a result, Viscar took the mantle to support forming a not-for-profit organization that would spearhead various interventions in line with SDG 7.  Donations from Viscar Industrial Capacity have been instrumental in driving the aspirations of Tech4G.
